For those whose ancestors are buried in either St Kenneth’s or one of the Private graveyards, there is a large-scale map with each graveyard pin-pointed, in the glass-fronted notice board outside the shop.

1.       By  Car:

From the south:      Up the A9 to Dalwhinnie, and turn Left onto the A882 to Spean Bridge and Fort William.  After approximately 10 miles you come to a T junction with the A86. Turn Right and Laggan village is just across the River Spey, and the church is on the right.

From the north:        Down the A9 and come off at the exit for Kingussie and the A86 to Spean Bridge and Fort William. Drive through Kingussie and  Newtonmore, bearing Right at the end of Newtonmore (still on the A86). Continue on the A86 until you reach Laggan village, and the church on the left.

From the west:       If coming from the north-west, in Spean Bridge turn left off the A82 onto the A86, heading for Inverness. If coming from Fort William, turn right  at the same junction. Continue on this road for approximately 27 miles, until you reach Laggan.

From the east:      Head for Aviemore, and drive through the town, heading west.   Continue on this road for about ¾ mile,  and turn  right,  then  left  at slip road onto  the A9  signed for Spean Bridge and Fort William.  Continue as if coming from the north.

2.       By  coach or train:

Regular coach services stop at both Newtonmore and Kingussie, and trains at Kingussie.  A taxi service is available from either to get you to Laggan.

3.       By air:

Inverness airport (approximately 60 miles away) has regular flights from Gatwick and Luton;  and Edinburgh and Glasgow (approximately 100 miles away) has similar flights from Heathrow, Europe and the USA.
